On the 15th and 16th of September, the REScoopVPP project partners had their first consortium meeting, using an hybrid format. The meeting was hosted by Energent, an energy cooperative in Ghent (Belgium). Some partners attended the meeting in person in ghent, one of the project's pilot sites, while others joined online.
The overall idea of REScoopVPP is to jointly develop and deploy solutions to provide much needed flexibility to the electrical grid in a cooperative approach.
The purpose of this first consortium meeting was to introduce the project partners, to understand the different backgrounds and to agree on how to work together effectively. The project partners introduced their working packages and discussed what needs to be done in order to get started.
After two productive days with lots of important discussions, the partners went home fully energised and ready to continue the work!
