- Our EU project has developed energy flexibility tools by co-ops for co-ops! - The main aim of REScoopVPP was to set-up a community-driven virtual power plant that can actually provide flexibility services to the grid and contributes to a 100% share of renewable energy sources into the grid. - REScoopVPP is over - The project ended on 30 November 2023. You may still get in touch with individual partners to learn more. - 12 project partners - REScoopVPP gathers: - 7 cooperatives
- 2 cooperative federations
- 2 universities
- 1 consultant
 - in a project running from June 2020 to November 2023 - 5 pilot sites - Our solution is being implemented in: - Belgium
- France
- Germany
- Spain
- United Kingdom
  - Tools for a community-driven flexibility system - REScoopVPP aims at building the most advanced smart building ecosystem for energy communties. Our solution includes hardware and software solutions to make flexibility services accessible for citizen initiatives.
- The project in few minutes- Our colleague Roland explained the project from scratch in a TED-style session at EUSEW 2022.
- Our approach - REScoopVPP develops a cooperative approach to Virtual Power Plants through open standards, open source software and collaborative licensing of smart energy management tools with high standards for data protection while maintaining independency from commercial interests - INNOVATION - REScoopVPP builds demand-side flexibility and forecasting tools to strengthen cooperatives as innovative energy communities. - COLLABORATION - Open source software and collaborative licensing will make our tools accessible to a wide ecosystem of cooperative actors. - LONG TERM AMBITION - We wish to organise cooperative developpers to pursue the development of (open) tools and make acessible new services to all energy cooperatives in Europe.
 - Learn more about our cooperative solution- This presentation summarises our approach, our solution and its implementation in the filed with our pilot partners.
